Heart attack cake batter pancakes from Quick Dish.
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup Betty Crocker Supermoist yellow cake mix
- 1 Tablespoon sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1-2 cups milk
- assorted sprinkles
- For the Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 Tablespoon milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- assorted sprinkles
- 2 Tablespoons butter, softened
Directions
- Combine flour, cake mix, baking powder, sugar and salt in a bowl and mix.
- Add 1 cup of milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth. Add additional milk until batter has the consistency of pancake batter. You can also add more cake mix if you want your pancakes to have a stronger cake batter flavor.
- Preheat a skillet to low to medium heat. Fold desired amount of sprinkles into batter. Pour batter in 1/4 cup measurements onto skillet and let cook until bubbles form on top, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for 1 minute more. Serve with vanilla glaze (recipe follows).
- For vanilla glaze: mix powdered sugar, butter, and vanilla and milk until glaze forms. You may need to add a little more milk to reach desired consistency so that it can be drizzled. Mix into glaze and drizzle on pancakes.

Sexy Scents
Sunday, November 6, 2011
Pumpkin pie and lavender are apparently the top two scents that give men a bit of the "throbbing thrill hammer". ... Or at least that's what I've read. So... I could only imagine how much more powerful a set of lips coated in pumpkin pie & lavender lip balm would be.
Dia de Los Muertos
Obviously my favorite part of this holiday is the makeup. Well... and any food involved. BUT THIS POST... is just for my favorite dolled up, Day of the Dead faces.

Blythe lookin' spooky...
Barbie always looks marvelous no matter what...
...But Hello Kitty makes the SWEETEST sugar skull.
OKAY so I couldn't leave out the damn food. This cake is badass anyway.

Pinups & Cheesecake... sans cake.

Our cute little pinup photoshoot for our ad in INSIDE SCV magazine went well on Wednesday. Here are a couple shots I took myself. Hopefully we'll get all our photos back soon!
Fancy shoes for this special occasion! My legs are SO white the natural light bounced right off them and overexposed this picture. True story!
Time for Sabina's fancy wine from Leona Valley
On a side note... here's the newest addition to our beloved Keurig coffee bar!
And I will end this post with a picture of Kathycutting eating the cheese.
Danielle lookin' sultry.
Deanna lookin' sweet. ... And somewhat naked.
Yesterday was our Open House for Capelli. Thank you to all who came out. You are all lovely individuals whom I love & adore!
I helped to get ready for the event all day... by doing a little quality control on the grapes. Just so ya know... everything was on the up 'n up!

Deanna hard @ work... finishing a client.
Yet another way I contributed to the festivities. My dreamy sculpture made from plastic pygmy wine glasses was promptly removed to make room for Sabina's "Cheese Masterpiece" .....Cheeseterpiece? Whatever.
Right?
Some of our edibles. I explained that only eating the Havarti cheese would be the best idea since it had holes in it and that would equal less cheese... and obviously, less calories.

I was told this wine was SO fancy it needed to BREATHE. I had to wait for it to aerate before drinking!
So I developed a technique for drinking it and allowing air to reach it quicker... allowing me to drink it sooner.
Good times!
This morning Kathy gave some of my Pimpin' Purple Special Effects hair color to a neighbor of ours to complete an effect she was trying to achieve on a client. The pink is an Elumen color by Goldwell. This was how it turned out. I love it!
